Mark is a graduate of the USC School of Cinema-TV and his first feature film, Breaking Legs, was just released by Sony Pictures. He was a selectee of the prestigious Fox Searchlab program for up-and-coming filmmakers after assisting Baz Luhrmann on Moulin Rouge. He has produced and directed commercials and brand spots for companies like Mattel, Fisher Price, Disney and Jamba Juice. Other credits include several short films, the popular Strangler! web series; he has taught cinema programs at both Marymount College and New Roads School. As a dancer he studied at San Francisco Ballet as a teen. He later danced with the tap dancing company Rhapsody in Taps; for Norman Lear; and Beyonce.
