Lisa Jay has worked in theater, television, and the world of live entertainment. She has choreographed for and performed in numerous industrials: Ford Motors, Compaq Computers (Sting’s World Tour Kick-off), Shell Oil, Dr. Pepper, Chevis Regal (with the late Emmy, Grammy, Oscar & Tony award-wining Marvin Hamlisch), AT&T, Mobil Oil, IBM, Oldsmobile, American Express, etc. Television credits include ABC’s Lost, MTV’s DanceLife, NBC’s Jake and the Fatman, ABC’s Life Goes On, NBC’s The Little People, and was a dancer in YouTube & Awesomeness Films’ Dance Camp. TV commercial credits include Walgreens, RC Cola, Gloria Vanderbilt Shoes, Macy’s, 7-11 Stores, and an online Ad for Disney Travel. Theatrical Choreography Credits include A Chorus Line, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Aladdin, The Only Dance There Is, A Midsummer Nights’ Dream, and Grease. Lisa has danced with New York Motion, the Ken Molina Dance Company, and in Abe Weinstein’s Cotton Club Revue. She was a featured soloist in Al Harrington’s Polynesian Revue, has danced with famed Hawaiian musical duo The Brothers Cazimero, and taught Hula to the late Tony award-wining choreographer, Thommie Walsh. Lisa was a guest choreographer for Betty Jones & Fritz Ludin’s Dances We Dance concert series and choreographed for the Goodwill Games in Nottingham, England. Lisa holds a Master’s Degree in Dance and is certified to teach Yoga, Yoga Sculpt, Pilates Mat, and Zumba. Lisa is on faculty at Millennium Dance Complex, Glendale College, Rio Hondo College, and is signed with The Movement Talent Agency.
