Lauren is a graduate of the Juilliard School Drama Division. She has had additional vocal training from Patsy Rodenburg, Shari Anderson and Elissa Weinzimmer. She has also pursued post-graduate studies in Education at Monmouth University and Counseling Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute.

For the past 15 years, she has been on the faculty of acting schools such as AMDA, The Art of Acting Studio and The Studio School and has privately coached actors and presenters in New York and Los Angeles for auditions, plays and film and TV work.

Some of Lauren’s favorite theaters at which she’s worked are:The Old Globe Theater in San Diego (Lobby Hero), The Long Wharf and The McCarter Theater (Fraulein Else), The Shakespeare Theater of New Jersey (12th Night), Pennsylvania Shakespeare (Merchant of Venice, As You Like It, Antony and Cleopatra, Two Noble Kinsman), Indiana Repertory Theater (Glass Menagerie, The Importance of Being Ernest, The Immigrant, Bad Dates, Rabbit Hole). She has been “understudy to the stars” for the Geffen Playhouse (Matthew Modine Saves the Alpacas, Female of the Species, The Escort, The Exorcist) and The Mark Taper Forum (iWitness).

Lauren has also appeared on TV in ER, Guiding Light, Days of Our Lives and The Whole Truth. She was the voice of the “Childhood Is Calling” campaign for Rice Krispies for many years.

She is a member of SAG-AFTRA, Actors Equity, and VASTA and is also the inventor of The Speech Ring™
