Last year Tremaine honored directors, choreographers and producers Kenny Ortega and Debbie Allen as the two 2012 Tremaine Entertainer of the Year Award recipients, along with Legendary Choreographer Award recipient Dee Dee Wood, and Outstanding Contribution to Dance honorees Josh Bergasse, Emmy winning choreographer of NBC’s Smash, and Zach Woodlee, choreography of FOX’s hit Glee. In 2006, Tremaine’s hugely successful 25th Anniversary Tour culminated with a star studded National Finals Convention where such stars as Broadway Legends Chita Rivera, Liza Minnelli, Ben Vereen and television’s Christina Applegate attended and were honored.
