Jodie Bentley is an LA-based actor, producer, teacher and speaker. A graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Acting, she worked consistently in the NY theater/musical theater scene for years, working with many renowned composers, playwrights and directors. Moving to LA in 2013, she switched gears into producing and produced 3 films in one year. Currently, she has two films in development, one that is a Tribeca Sloan Grant winner of 2016. She also has two TV series in development, a drama series called Meltdown in association with Hoplite Entertainment and String Lights, a one-hour musical drama series in association with Conduit. She tells female driven stories that raise consciousness and connection through the lens of truth.

For the past 10 years, she has been educating actors on building a business plan through branding, marketing and sales fundamentals by co-founding two bicoastal businesses, The Savvy Actor and Accelerated Artist. Jodie was an adjunct professor teaching the Business of Acting at Pace University in NYC for 3 years, as well as, New York Film Academy and the New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts. She wrote a book called The Savvy Actor Career Manual, which was the first ever business plan for an actor and was sold internationally. She has a 2nd book coming out in 2018. She has also created a best selling program called Reinventing Crowdfunding to teach other filmmakers how to raise money for their projects. She has taught workshops on all the above at SAG-AFTRA, Actors Equity, Comicon, Comikaze and over 50+ universities and training programs. 

Jodie is also an audiobook narrator, she has 40+ books under her belt and is an Audible Approved Producer. She is known for Thrillers, Comedies and creating distinct character voices for women and men. 

Whether acting or producing she embodies and tells stories of women who are ambitious, determined, obsessed and myopic to the extreme. And is known as the “tough love” career coach.
