Erin Donovan has a Bachelors in Anthropology from the University of Colorado, Boulder and a Masters in Applied Anthropology from the University of Maryland, College Park. She has worked as a North American Archaeologist, a Museum Director, Curator and Registrar traveling loans and exhibitions for several international art museums, and has taught everything from Cultural Anthropology to Archaeology, Native American Studies, US History, and World History courses at the community-college level. Her professional focus is on North American Archaeology, specifically working on Native American representation and rights. Ms. Donovan also owns a tour company called Ancient Excursions that is dedicated to promoting sustainable development and ecotourism to World Heritage Archaeological Sites around the globe. She is thrilled to be a part of Studio School, a great way to bring Anthropology and the Arts together!
