MFA, USC School of Cinematic Arts. BA, University of São Paulo. Camila Ohara Tanabe was born in São Paulo, Brazil and worked as a writer, videographer and editor for multiple independent Brazilian production companies before moving to Los Angeles. During her time at USC, Camila was awarded the Annenberg Graduate Fellowship and the Harold Lloyd Memorial Scholarship and joined Phi Kappa Phi honor society for students with outstanding scores. Her recent projects include directing a short in association with actor James Franco’s production company.
